New pattern alert! JenLee’s Fairy Tale Dress

The new JenLee’s Fairy Tale Dress is exactly what its name suggests…something right out of a fairy tale! This dress resulted from a collaborated vision between Jen Gunn and Leigh Dudley, and it’s nothing short of epic.  With yards and yards of tulle to create that fairy tale vision and a unique back strap on the bodice, it’s really a dream dress.

Sizes range from 2T to 12 so there is plenty of room for this dress to grow with your daughter, and it’s perfect for anything from dress up play to flower girl fancy.  There’s even the option to just make the skirt if you don’t need the entire dress!

Jen uses a unique draping technique to give the dress a dreamy quality and doesn’t require you to gather a single piece of tulle.  It’s really a very easy sew even for those of us who groan a little inside at the mention of tulle.

The front offers full coverage while the open back straps connect to the bodice to ensure that everything stays in place while your little lady is moving around.  The crossover straps offer a unique look that adds to the fairy tale feel of this dress.

You also have a very large canvas to work with to add embellishments to the bodice and the dress to add your own personal touch of creative to the entire piece.

Pattern pieces are layered so you only print what you need/want.  This saves you one both paper and ink. You also get clear, concise directions and photos for each step to compare where you are with what the dress should look like at each step!
